Despite Buffy's efforts to convince us that some things are inherently evil, I think Shakespeare's saying is correct (as is yours). Whether something is good or bad depends on how it is interpreted - a prime example is how the meaning of words changes over time. What used to be a medical definition can become an insult; an insult can be reclaimed as a term of empowerment.

Wise words there and from Shakespeare and Nina, and once again I just love the cat, the dog and the teapot. That suggests some kind of nursery rhyme to me. Don't knock them, they outlive us.

How creative to compare this quote to the sayings within the Buffyverse! Thank you for your very thoughtful contribution...
I like the university tutorial scene in 'Life Serial' where, when the tutor asks the class to elaborate on 'the construction of reality', Willow says "Because social phenomena don't have unproblematic objective existences. They have to be interpreted and given meanings by those who encounter them." Unfortunately most of the time it's back to the "it sure is eeevil" paradigm.
