Friedrich Nietzsche says:
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.
I say:
I don't believe it's possible for people to think alike... the subjectivity of human experience necessitates that we all experience the world differently, and so any notion of 'the mainstream' is an individually created one.
